Happy Father's day, Dad!

Even though you're not my "real" dad, I love you! Thanks for putting up with me. For letting me scream at you though the shower door when you bathe, for grabbing your hand when I think you have the Nu-Nu finger, for biting your toes, for tripping over my toys in the middle of the night and not making me get rid of them. And for thinking of me (kinda) as your son, thank you too.

I scream, you scream...

We all scream for...Cat Trees!!

Yay! Mom bought us a new cat tree today. Now, all Dad has to do is bring it home in the truck....in the torrential rain...after making an extra stop at the hardware store for a tarp after a really long day at work. He must really love mom and us a lot. I'll hide a catnip mouse under his pillow tonight to thank him. Hopefully I'll have some pictures to post soon of the new toy!

Verse VII

My most striking minimalist piece yet...

If he
His it
Am smear

Sorry...

I know it's been awhile, I've been a little sick this past week or so. After the last visit to the vet I got an upset stomach from the shot Dr. B gave me, so Mom dragged me back again for more medicine. We didn't get to see Dr. B, though, because she had a "family emergency". So, we had to see Dr. Q. Mom was pretty traumatized, but I thought she was nice.

Anyway, it's been hard to concentrate on my poetry since the roofer started working. All that banging and pounding has not been very helpful at all. More poetry to come soon. Promise.
